People I've met over the years

According to the Chinese Zodiac, people born in the year of the Boar... don’t make many friends but they make them for life, and anyone having a Boar Year friend is fortunate for they are extremely loyal. By now you've probably guessed that I am a Boar. Everything the Chinese Zodiac predicts of the Boar seems to have applied to me, and making friends for life is no exception.

Over the years, I have met many great people in real life and on the magical internet, most of which I met in the unforgettable Depeche Mode chatroom. I create this page in honor of these people, some of whom I'd like to call friends. While I did not get along with everyone I met, I now have more respect for them as I continue to see how little I did to try to improve our relationships.

It is both my fate and desire to make friends for life. That is why I continue to keep in touch with some of my internet friends year after year. Every time I lose touch with one of them, I lose a friend. Others may not be so enthusiastic as to keep in touch with old friends, but I for one will always treasure the friendships I have with other people.
