Other than some funny gags and generic special effects, this movie does not have much to offer, further proving that (sadly) martial arts movies are a thing of the past. Dreaful acting, ridiculous plot, poor pacing, it's like the director wanted to put you to sleep. Still, something made me like this movie. I think it was Nick Cheung's character, Dragon 9. His acting wasn't so bad actually, and the story revolved around him. It is worth a look if you think you might like this kind of new wave kung fu comedy (without any kung fu, of course), but it is nowhere near as good as the Storm Riders. [6/10] |
